The latest contest: a trip to Scotland

Monday, May 10, 2010

My latest email from Icelandair had a link to a contest to win a trip to Scotland.

See where the water of life began

Whisky, Uisge beatha in Gaelic, and Scotch to many Americans and Canadians, is Scotland’s national drink. Are you interested in whisky? Then here is your chance to win a trip of a lifetime to the home of malt whisky. You and a friend could be lucky enough to spend 5 days in Scotland visiting a range of distilleries as well as attending WhiskyLive! in Glasgow in 2010. Enter below.

This exclusive prize package includes:
  • 2 tickets to WhiskyLive! 2010 in Glasgow
  • 4 nights accommodation in a 4-star B&B
  • Return flights with Icelandair
  • Car hire

Now, I don't know much about whisky (for example, I thought it was spelled whiskey!), but I'm more than willing to fly to Scotland to learn. And since it's Icelandair, there can be a lovely stopover in Iceland on the way home so I can finally meet my dear friend Æsa in person!
